It’s been another action-packed week here at South East Asia Sails (SEA Sailmakers)! From repairing sails for the bustling charter fleets in Thailand to crafting custom sails for clients around the world, our team continues to deliver high-quality craftsmanship for sailors near and far.
Our repair team has been working tirelessly this week to keep local charter boats sailing smoothly. They’ve repaired lazy bags, mainsails, headsails, and Code Zeros for a variety of yachts, including Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, Beneteau, Jeanneau, and a few custom boats.
One special sail stood out this week – a Catalina sail, a rare sight here in Thailand, came through for some much-needed TLC. It’s always exciting to see such diversity in the boats we work on!
Meanwhile, our sailmaking team has been hard at work crafting bespoke sails for sailors around the globe. Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Storm Jib: Headed to Dubai, ready to tackle strong winds with confidence.

Bright Orange High Roach Mainsail for a Seawind 1050: Its bold color will be hard to miss as it sails in Vietnam.
135% Hanks-on Genoa for a Santana 20: On its way to Camarillo, California, ready to power a sleek racer.
High Roach Full Batten Mainsail for a Custom Charter Catamaran: Designed for cruising the exotic Andaman Islands.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to Liam for sharing his incredible photos and stories from this year’s Race 2 Alaska. Liam’s trusty Taylor 26, “Finch”, performed beautifully with the Short Batten Mainsail we made for him. Seeing our sails in action, especially in such a challenging and inspiring race, fills us with pride. Thank you, Liam, for trusting us to be part of your journey!
