It’s been another action-packed week at the loft, with our repair team working tirelessly while our sailmakers completed a variety of exciting new builds. On top of that, we’re thrilled to share some big news about the months ahead!

Repairs & Sail Care

Our repair department has been working non-stop this week, handling repairs and laundering for sails and stack packs/lazy bags from boats including:

  • Jeanneau

  • Beneteau

  • Lagoon

  • Bali

  • Bavaria

  • Fountaine Pajot

  • Dufour

Keeping these sails in top condition means more safe, enjoyable miles on the water for our clients.

New Sails Leaving the Loft

Meanwhile, our sailmakers have been busy crafting brand new sails heading to sailors around the world:

  • Takai 301 – Short Batten Mainsail soon to be seen sailing the waters of South Korea

  • Northshore 370 – 2+3 Batten Mainsail with a striking Mermaid logo on the tack, bound for New South Wales

  • Bavaria 32 – Roller Furling Genoa built for our friends at @groupislandspirit

  • C&C 27 MKV – 165% Radial Cut Hanks-on Genoa heading to Shanty Bay

  • Bavaria 32 – Full Batten Mainsail also for our partners at @groupislandspirit

  • Sadler 29 – 165% Roller Furling Genoa

Exciting Announcement – We’re Returning to Annapolis!

We’re delighted to announce that SEA Sailmakers will be returning to the Annapolis Sailboat Show this autumn, running from October 9th–12th. It’s always one of our favorite events of the year, and we can’t wait to connect with sailors, clients, and friends old and new. If you’re attending, come visit us — we’d love to see you there.

Client Thank-Yous

A special part of our week is receiving photos from clients out on the water. This week, two stood out:

  • Megan and family – thank you for sharing a wonderful photo of your SEA Sails 0.75oz lightweight Code/Screecher in pink and white, flying proudly on your Cheoy Lee 33 Clipper Ketch.

  • Bradon – thank you for sending in great photos of your SEA Sails 1+3 Batten Mainsail bent on and ready to go aboard your spotless Careel 18.

It’s always a joy to see our sails out in the wild, doing what they were built to do.

Until Next Time

From global sail deliveries to major repairs and exciting show announcements, it’s been a week full of energy and momentum. Thank you, as always, to our incredible clients for trusting SEA Sailmakers with your sails — we’re proud to be part of your sailing stories.
