Hello, SEA Sailmakers community!

This week has been filled with exciting projects and milestones for us at South East Asia Sails (SEA Sailmakers). As we continue to deliver high-quality sails and exceptional service, we’re thrilled to share our latest accomplishments with you.

  • Furling Genoa and Staysail for an Oyster 435 We crafted these sails for an Oyster 435, set to sail in Banchory, Scotland. Our team ensured these sails are designed for performance and durability, perfectly suited for the Scottish waters.

  • Full Batten Mainsail for an Endeavour 35 This mainsail is heading to North Carolina, designed to provide optimal shape retention and longevity for the Endeavour 35.

  • Mizzen for a Morgan 452 Ketch It’s an honor to create a mizzen for this beautiful Morgan 452 Ketch, now based in St. Thomas, USVI. We originally crafted a mainsail for this vessel when it was in Phuket, and we’re thrilled to continue being part of its journey.

  • High Roach Mainsail for the Angsana Laguna Phuket Resort This sail will enhance the sailing experience at the Angsana Laguna Phuket Resort, providing superior performance and aesthetics.

  • In-Boom Furling Mainsail for a Passport 40 Off to Australia, this in-boom furling mainsail is designed for ease of use and excellent performance, tailored specifically for the Passport 40.

  • Short Batten Mainsail for a Newport 28 MKII Bound for the USA, this short batten mainsail is crafted to deliver great performance and durability for the Newport 28 MKII.

Our repair team has been hard at work this week, focusing on several projects:

  • Beautiful Gaff Sails for Red Baron Charters We repaired gaff sails made from Sunbrella for our friends at Red Baron Charters in Koh Samui, ensuring they remain in top condition.

  • Repairs for Elite Charters and Asia Marine Our team also worked on various sails for Elite Charters, Asia Marine, and other monohulls and catamarans for private clients, maintaining our commitment to quality and precision.

Robert and Iwiyisi traveled to the United Kingdom this week to meet with fellow sailmakers, exploring potential collaborations and innovations in sailmaking. We’re excited about the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to expand our expertise and partnerships.
