It’s been another busy and rewarding week at the loft, with our team handling a steady flow of repairs and finishing up some exciting new sail projects destined for waters near and far.

Repairs in the Loft

Our repair team have been hard at work this week on sails for:

  • Bavaria

  • Swan

  • Oyster

  • Jeanneau

  • Lagoon Catamarans

These sails included work from some of the world’s leading makers such as North Sails, Quantum, Elvstrøm, and Incidence Sails. Each repair ensures these yachts stay powered up and ready for their next passage.

New Sails Completed

Alongside the repairs, our sailmakers wrapped up several exciting new builds:

  • Comet 11 – 1+3 Batten Mainsail

  • Dufour 520 – Lazy Bag / Stack Pack for our friends at @dreamyachtworldwide

  • Island Spirit 525 – Roller Furling Jib for our friends at @groupislandspirit

  • San Juan 23 – Radial Cut Jib heading to Rutherfordton, North Carolina

  • Island Spirit 525 – a massive Square Top Mainsail for our friends at @groupislandspirit. It’s hard to capture its full size in the loft, but this one is built to impress.

  • San Juan 23 – Short Batten Mainsail also bound for Rutherfordton, North Carolina

  • Osprey 48 – Roller Furling Staysail and Jib soon to be seen sailing the waters of Quincy, Illinois

Looking Ahead – Annapolis Sailboat Show

We’re also very excited to share that SEA Sailmakers will be returning to the Annapolis Sailboat Show from October 9th – 12th. You’ll find us at Tent YB 20 – come by, meet the team, and see what we’ve been working on. We look forward to catching up with friends old and new!

Wrapping Up

From delicate repairs on Swan and Oyster sails to towering square tops for Island Spirit catamarans, this week has showcased the incredible range of projects we’re proud to take on. Whether it’s a trusted family cruiser, a high-performance yacht, or a brand-new multihull, our goal remains the same: to deliver sails that inspire confidence, performance, and joy on the water.
