The past two weeks have been an exciting mix of sailmaking, regatta victories, and participation in some standout marine events. As high season kicks into full gear, the SEA Sailmakers team has been firing on all cylinders. Here’s the latest from our loft:

Custom Sails Shipped Worldwide

We’ve been busy crafting sails for customers near and far:

  • Short Batten Mainsail for a Hartley TS 16: Finished and soon headed for New South Wales, Australia.

  • Furling Mainsail for a Beneteau Oceanis 500: Ready to catch the trade winds in Grenada.

  • Roller Furling Genoa for a Lagoon 400 S2: Packed and off to Tucson, Arizona.

  • New Spinnaker for a Beneteau Sense 43: A beautiful blue and purple creation, delivered to Chonburi, Thailand.

  • Lazy Bag for a Barrier Reef Express: Shipped to Grasstree Beach, Queensland, Australia.

  • Hanks-On Staysail: En route to the stunning Waiheke Island, Auckland, New Zealand.

  • Lazy Bag for an S2 9.2A: On its way to Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, USA.

  • Lazy Bag for a Fountaine Pajot Athena 38: Finished and heading to Belhaven, USA.

Victory at the King’s Cup Regatta

We were thrilled to receive exciting news from the King’s Cup Regatta—one of Thailand’s premier sailing events. Congratulations to the crew of Luminous-Tiburon (a Yamaha 34s) for securing 1st place overall in the Bareboat Charter Class! We are so proud to have supplied the Mainsail and Jib that helped propel this team to victory.

Repair Team in High Demand

With the busy high season in full swing, our repair team has been working tirelessly to keep boats on the water. This past fortnight, we’ve been assisting our friends at:

Joining the Kata Rocks Events

Robert and Iwiyisi had the pleasure of taking part in two prestigious events:

  • The Kata Rocks Poker Run: A fun and competitive motor yacht event with stops at stunning islands in the Andaman Sea.

  • The Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous: A fantastic gathering of the region’s most luxurious superyachts, providing opportunities to connect with sailors and industry professionals from around the world.
